Halloween II (Rob Zombie)

Rob Zombie's sequel picks up immediately after his 2007 remake, following Laurie Strode as she struggles to recover from her traumatic encounter with Michael Myers. One year later, Laurie is living with her friend Annie and Annie's father, Sheriff Brackett, while suffering from severe psychological trauma and disturbing nightmares. Michael, presumed dead, has survived and is making his way back to Haddonfield, guided by visions of his deceased mother. This sequel takes the franchise in a darker, more psychological direction, exploring themes of trauma, identity, and the nature of evil.
